Research Director responsible for emerging markets research and extracting global intelligence on regional and country-specific macroeconomic and policy issues. Prior to joining Global Evolution, Ole worked with the World Bank for several years in various capacities and still acts a consultant and advisor. In Washington D.C. Ole worked for the World Bank on low and middle income countries in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa, and specifically as a country economist and team leader responsible for the World Bank’s portfolio in seven frontier markets. Ole has in addition been a Professor of Economics, with a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in international macroeconomics with numerous research visits to Harvard, Stanford, and Brown Universities among others. Ole activates a comprehensive global IMF and World Bank network of country economists in emerging and frontier markets – as well as a research group on international finance and macroeconomics that is instrumental to extracting knowledge that informs the investment strategies of Global Evolution.
